Title: Rural Development with emphasis on agricultural sustainablity

Abstract:
One of programs that can have significant role in rural development is effort towards sustainable agriculture. It means to maintain the optimal use of resources in the future, The most common definition of sustainabie agriculture is that all economical, social and ecological aspects are included. The purpose of this study is rural development with emphasis on agricultural sustainability. The location limit is Behshahr city and its time limit in 2012-2013. Research population is 2545 hiusholds of farmer s that according to this population, 331 research statistical samples were selected through cochran formula Data has been collected through field surveg and analyzed by spss software. the results suggests that there is significant relationship between economic, management and natural factors and agricultural sustainability. In addition, according to the kruskal- wallis test there is no significant difference between the multiple levels of agricultural sustainability in residential area. Friedman test shows that the variables of stability and development has the most effect among agricultural sustainability dimensions and economic variables are most effective among rural development dimensions.
